getting perfect hair takes time. it wont ever be the way you want it if you do it carlessly and half-a$ $ ed. straighten it in layers, put serum to finish it off. to make it really stay, add mousse to your damp hair before you straighten it.

Question by kooks: What are some hair straightening products for curly hair, that work with out blow-dryers or irons?
I have curly hair, and what i would really love is to find a product that will straighten it, at least make it wavy, without having to blow dry it or iron it. I know there just has to be a hair product like that out there some where!

Question by Zhenya: What is the best process by which to permanently straighten hair?
I’ve done Brazilian Keratin straightening before and it worked very well.My hair stayed straight in humidity and after a shower but I found out that the cream they use contains formaldehyde.Does anyone know of a safer way to chemically straighten hair or keratin products that don’t contain formaldehyde?
By permanently straightening I mean that the hair that is treated stays straight for a long time.Obviously when the hair grows out it wont be straight

No such thing as Permanently Straightening Hair.
But I know that ReBonding it can keep it straight without straightening it for a few months-years.

It depends how much money and time you’re willing to put into your hair. You can buy hair straighteners from $ 15-$ 50 at local drugstores (including Target, Wal-mart, etc.).

I personally use the CHI- on some websites (folica.com) they have them for $ 90 and less. When I started using my CHI, it cut my time in half, and I personally think it works well. But, I have frizzy, wavy hair, not extremely curly.

Good luck!

How to get sleek, thick, straight hair?

Question by Llammas: How to get sleek, thick, straight hair?
My hair is naturally wavy, with terrible cowlicks at my temples and it’s a bit frizzy as well ( I’ve been dying my hair for years). I’m dying to nail the “sleek hair” look: very thick hair, straight with a bit of volume at the top and sides, and somewhat shiny.

I’ve seen many girls with this look who have obviously color-treated hair, so it must be some secret I’m missing out on! Any help would be hugely appreciated.
I probably should have added: I do get my hair dyed professionally (the kind of dye with amino acids in it), but I’ve had my hair dyed since I was twelve, and even though the dye helps to straighten it out, I still get frizz.

There are some great suggestions here guys, thanks. :-D
