A SAVVY shopper is encouraging people to run to Matalan after spotting a range of cut-price homeware hitting the shelves – including a designer dupe that’s less than half the price.

With a cost-of-living crisis in full swing and summer around the corner, we’re all trying to keep costs low where we can.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t want to keep our homes looking top-notch and in line with the latest interior trends.

Luckily, savvy shopper Kat has revealed where to stock up on bargain vases, planters, and stylish storage after spotting Matalan’s latest range.

And they’re budget-friendly, with most coming in at under £20.

She said: “Matalan were killing it! They have some gorgeous pieces atm.”

During her mooch around the high-street store, Kat first spotted the White Clam Shell Ornament – perfect for bringing that beachy feel to your home, and priced at just £15.50.

She was also a fan of the Recycled Round Vase, made from a luxe-looking teal-toned glass, also £15.50.

Also in her local store was the Large Resin Pebble Planter, its multi-coloured pebble design the perfect contrast to any greenery.

Shoppers can pick up the garden-friendly pot, now reduced from £30 to £24, both online and in-store.

Kat was also impressed by the quality of the Whitewashed Ceramic Two Handle Vase, also priced at £15.50.

For those looking for neutral homeware accessories to complement their homes, the keen bargain hunter also recommended the ceramic White Hampton Ceramic Vase, now £13.50.

If you’re in need of some stylish storage, she also spotted the Natural Bleach Maize Storage Basket, now £15.50, and the Green Cotton Rope Basket, £15.

She also spotted a couple of potential designer dupes, including the Concrete Base Hurricane for £9.50.

Online, some have suggested this could be a cheaper alternative to the Barker and Stonehouse Large Glass And Cement Hurricane Grey costing more than double the price at £25.

That’s a potential saving of £15.

The Matalan fan also had high praise for the two-pack of Blue & White Reactive Planters, now reduced from £14 to just £11.20.
