Drake‘s “Toosie Slide” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated April 18, making him the first male act to have debuted three songs at No. 1.

Drake matches Maria Carey, who had three No. 1 debuts on the Hot 100 in 1995-97. Overall, “Toosie Slide” is Drake’s seventh No. 1 hit on the list.

“God’s Plan,” which hit No. 1 on February 3, 2018, and “Nice for What,” which hit top on April 21, 2018, were the other two Drake tracks to debut at the top.

The song, released on OVO Sound/Republic Records, dethrones The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights,” which stayed atop the cart for two weeks.

Overall, “Toosie Slide” is the 1,098th No. 1 in the Hot 100’s history that dates back to August 4, 1958.

The track tops the Streaming Songs chart, earning Drake his eighth No. 1, twice the sum of his closest competitor, Justin Bieber.
According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the song logged 55.5 million U.S. streams in the week ending April 9.

On the Digital Song Sales list, Drake’s track opened at No. 3, with 25,000 sold in the week ending April 9, while on Radio Songs, it climbed up to No. 22 from No. 43.

Meanwhile, Drake tallies his 50th cumulative week atop the Hot 100.
