“Gemma started filming her first commercial over the weekend and she’ll be officially announced as the new face of Surf in the coming weeks.”

They added to The Sun Online of Dani’s decision to step back: “Dani is stepping back from her role with the brand and won’t be working with them any longer. She has a lot on with her baby son and those in charge at Surf wanted to tap into Gemma’s brand power.

“She has such a huge following and everything she endorses turns to gold.

“They may be paying Gemma seven figures to come on board but they think the rewards for Surf will be even greater.”

Dani’s spokesperson told OK!: “Dani had a two year contract with Surf that finished in March – she has a strong relationship with Unilever and continues to work with their Vaseline brand where she has her own range of products.”

Gemma Collin’s representative declined to comment when contacted by OK! online.

Since leaving The Only Way Is Essex, Gemma has her fingers in many pies including her own podcast, reality show, clothing store and much more.

Multi-millionaire Gemma, who was recently snapped looking cosy with her ex Rami Hawash, recently revealed that her Instagram page is also a big earner for her.

Speaking on her episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Gemma explained: “In one day I made £75,000 from social media posts, that was on a Black Friday.”

As Piers, 56, called the amount of money she made on Instagram as “insane” she added: “It is, but the opportunity was there, I probably went out and wasted the money but I had a good time on it.”

Despite making huge amounts of money The GC, who recently showed off her jaw-dropping garden, also revealed her father Alan sets her an allowance to stop her splurging.

Gemma explained how she previously spent “£1,000 everyday for two months” during what she described as a low point in her life.

She explained: “It was kind of self destruction in a way, and I'm pleased my dad took my card off me because I'm telling you know I would have ended up in trouble.”

Now, Gemma’s father Alan controls her finances as she added: “If I'm going on holiday, I'll say, 'Dad I'm going to London today can I have £1,000?' He's like, 'What do you need now?' and I'm like 'Nothing but I don't want my card getting declined.

“There have been times where my card has been declined by Gucci.”
