The Weeknd reclaimed the top spot on Billboard‘s all-genre Hot 100 chart as “Blinding Lights” rebounded to No. 1 to record a third total week in the top spot.
“Blinding Lights” rebounded to No. 1 from 2nd position last week. The song dethroned Drake‘s “Toosie Slide,” which dropped to No. 2 following its debut at No. 1 a week ago.
Digital song sales of “Blinding Lights” dropped 1% to 21,000 sold in the week ending April 16, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, but was still enough to reclaim the No. 1 spot.
The song leads the Radio Songs chart for a second week, with 108.6 million audience impressions, up 4%, in the week ending April 19. It holds at No. 3 on Streaming Songs, down 6% to 25.4 million U.S. streams.
