Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos aren't shy when it comes to discussing their relationship.
The couple got candid with Andy Cohen and Bruce Bozzi on the SiriusXM Radio Andy show Quarantined with Bruce on Friday, and after Cohen said the self-isolation period is the "longest" he’s gone without having sex, Ripa and Consuelos said they don't let too much time pass without getting intimate.
When Cohen asked how they keep their sex life healthy, Ripa replied, "I think we found each other at the right time in our lives."
"We were really young. Not that that’s the right time in somebody’s lives, but we were really pliable," she said. "We were pliable to each other. We learned each other well. And with that comes a certain level of comfort and confidence and experimentation and just, like, fun. We have fun."
Ripa and Consuelos have been married for over 20 years, and share three children: 22-year-old Michael, 18-year-old Lola, and 17-year-old Joaquin. The Ripa-Consuelos family have been self-isolating together in New York City, which Ripa said they feel a sense of "gratitude" for, though it hasn't been without challenges.
"They’ve been great. The only challenge, I think, is surviving their endless — they make fun of us constantly," Ripa said about her kids. "It’s endless. As soon as I leave the office and I’m done with my show and I walk into the kitchen, they are on me. They are totally making fun of every word I’ve said, everything I’ve done."
We can only imagine what the Consuelos kids will be making of this latest interview.
