Picking a name for your little one can feel like one of the most important choices you ever make.

And, it looks like Jack – as in Jack Frost – came out on top with 2,900 babies born with that name last year.
Theodore came in second place with 2,737 little boys given the moniker in 2020 – the name translates into “God’s Gift” and was popular among early Christians.
In fact, over 20 saints have the name Theodore.
Joseph, like Jesus’s father, was also popular with 1,437 little boys being given the name last year. We love the nativity vibes of this moniker.
When it comes to girl’s names Ivy was the top choice – a whopping 2,166 babies were named after the festive plant in 2020.
Next up was Grace, meaning elegance or good will, which 2,010 children were given and Evie came in third with 1,793 babies assigned the name.
Evie is the Latin form of Eve and would be great for babies born on December 24.
