Parents have been praising a budget hairbrush that helps save them time when taming their daughter's hair.

One mum revealed how the £2.40 brush now takes her five minutes, instead of 15 minutes, to comb her child's locks.

She revealed all about her amazing find on Facebook in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

The detangling brush is from Savers and some might say it's even better than the more expensive versions that can cost up to £20.

Posting online, the mum said: "Instead of paying £20 for a detangling brush, Savers are selling them for just £2.40!

"It used to take at least 15 minutes to style my daughter's hair, but now only takes 5 at most."

She added: "Bought pretty purple for her and beautiful beige for myself."

The cheap buy certainly proved popular among other mums after her post racked up 1,300 likes and 1,100 comments.

One Facebook user wrote: "These are brilliant, thanks for the tip."

Another admitted: "I have this and it's amazing. Best brush I've ever used."

A third added: "I have both colours – love them! Best brushes I've ever had."

However, one Facebook fan claims the brushes can be found cheaper elsewhere.

The user said: "Primark have them for £1.50 in there."

According to the Savers website, the product is "eco-friendly" and it is designed with flexible nylon bristles to massage the head.

Also the product is "fully recyclable" and works on "all types of hair including curly and very curly hair".
