Beyonce rides shotgun in a convertible vintage Mercedes Benz – The Sun

BEYONCE was spotted riding shotgun in a convertible vintage Mercedes Benz.

The singer, 38, donned a mask, sunglasses and a hair wrap as she rode in the passenger side of the car.

While Beyonce rode along in the vintage vehicle, her bodyguards were driving their usual black Escalade behind.

In one photo she's seen speaking animatedly with a mystery person, then in the other she's adjusting her face mask – which has an upside down B on it.

The superstar appears to be ignoring the backlash against Lana Del Rey after she "compared herself" to pop stars Beyonce, Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj in a furious Instagram post earlier in the week.

The 34-year-old singer was slammed for being “racially insensitive” after she criticized "a group of mostly black women” in her controversial comments.

While talking about her upcoming album, she shaded her music colleagues – which also included Cardi B, Kehlani, Camila Cabello and Ariana Grande, for ”wearing no clothes.”

In the post Lana titled a “question for the culture,” she also said she was “fed up with female writers.”

Fans were livid about her comments which consisted of almost all women of color.

“I don’t know who was giving Lana Del Rey a hard time but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Black women. Girl, sing your little cocaine carols and leave us alone,” one Twitter user wrote.

Another fired off: “Think Lana’s post would have been fine if she hadn’t compared herself to a group of mostly black women with the clear tone that she thinks she’s been treated worse by the media when that’s observably untrue.”

After the wave of criticism hit, Lana broke her silence Thursday and doubled down on her original comments.

"Bro. This is sad to make it about a WOC issue when I’m talking about my favorite singers. I could’ve literally said anyone but I picked my favorite f**king people.

"And this is the problem with society today, not everything is about whatever you want it to be. It’s exactly the point of my post – there are certain women that culture doesn’t want to have a voice it may not have to do with race I don’t know what it has to do with.

"I don’t care anymore but don’t ever ever ever ever bro- call me racist because that is bulls**t," she sounded off.

Beyoncé Actually Has a Cousin On a Hit TV Show

Some may not know, but Beyoncé isn’t the only star in her family. Her sister Solange is an R&B star with several Billboard-charting hits and a Grammy-winning album. Her mom is a fashion designer who doubles as Beyoncé’s sometime hairstylist. And her cousin, Angela Beyince, is a multihyphenate with a role on a hit BET series. Here’s everything you need to know about her — from her relationship with Beyoncé to her career highlights.

Who is Angela Beyince and what does she do?

Beyince, 37, is related to the Grammy-winning star through Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, whose maiden name is Beyincé. As far as her profession, there’s no one title that can encapsulate all that Beyince does. Even though she now works as an actress, she has had her hands in many other pots throughout the years.

Beyince first established herself as a songwriter, helping to pen many tracks for her cousin, including “Naughty Girl” and Upgrade U.” But she has also dabbled into the business and executive side of the music industry. Madame Noire reports that Beyince has worked as Beyoncé’s assistant and served as the Vice President of Operations at Beyoncé’s management and entertainment company, Parkwood Entertainment.

Inside Angela Beyince’s relationship with Beyoncé

In 2014, Beyince opened up to Out magazine about her relationship with the Lemonade crooner, noting that they have been close since they were kids. She said that she spent each summer with the Knowles family and would travel around their native Houston, Texas to watch Beyoncé perform when she was as young as 5 years old.

When Beyoncé rose to fame, Beyince was right there, taking on all sorts of roles, from a tour accountant to a laundry washer, per Out. Although she admitted that her cousin’s star has shattered any sense of normalcy that they had and prevents them from doing everyday things, Beyince noted that Beyoncé never complains and was “born” for this lifestyle.

“This is what she was born to do and she’s loved it since she was a kid,” she said of the 38-year-old star. “She never takes it for granted. She appreciates every second of it. It’s like she’s painting a piece of art. Until the last color is on the canvas, she’s not done. Until it’s dry and it’s amazing and it’s finished and it’s up hanging on the wall, she’s not done.”

Angie Beyince is on a hit BET series

Beyince has role on the BET series Sistas, which was created and written by Tyler Perry. According to Deadline, the show is a comedy-drama that “revolves around a group of single black females as they navigate their ‘complicated’ love lives, careers, and friendships through the ups-and-downs of living in a modern world.” The show debuted in October 2019 and has since received the green light for a second series, according to TV Scorecards.

On the show, Beyince plays a character named Pam, an assistant to one of the lead characters. Beyince has often posted clips of her performances to Instagram, receiving praise from fellow actresses such as Vivica A. Fox, Christina Milian, and Bresha Webb. On one particular post, Knowles even referred to Beyince as a “natural.” Ready to watch? Check out your local listings for showtimes.

Beyoncé Made a Surprise Appearance on the 'Disney Family Singalong'

As if knowing the world needed her now more than ever, Beyoncé popped up on the Disney Family Singalong special that aired on ABC April 16.

"Tonight, we come together and take a break to share in the joy of Disney," host Ryan Seacrest said at the beginning of the special, which also raised awareness and funds for Feeding America. The night featured many big stars, like Ariana Grande and Christina Aguilera covering classic songs, but nobody was a bigger surprise than Queen Bey, whose appearance had not been mentioned in any of the press leading up to the event.

"I’m very proud to be a part of the Disney family,” Bey during the special. “And to help present the Disney Songbook Singalong in partnership with Feeding America, I’d like to dedicate this song to all of the healthcare workers who’ve been working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe. We greatly appreciate you.”

She then sang "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio and crushed it, naturally.

“She sent something in and it was absolutely beautiful. Beyoncé singing ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ was in the total spirit of not only what the special is about, but what the country is about right now, and it was something only she could do,” Rob Mills, a senior vice president at ABC Entertainment told Buzzfeed News.

Darren Criss shared a little inside insight into the song choice on Twitter. "Fun fact: asked if I could do 'When You Wish Upon a Star.' They said 'that’s impossible to get cleared' which was either the nicest way to tell me 'please don’t' or it was actually true and it’s just nothing is impossible if Beyonce wants to do it," he wrote on Twitter.

As with every time Beyoncé makes a public appearance, social media went nuts. "ABC didn’t even bother to put the lyrics up for Beyoncé’s song. They said don’t you even THINK about singing when Beyoncé sings!!!!! #DisneyFamilySingalong," one person tweeted. "I need Beyoncé to release a small ep of her singing lullabies. Imagine how peaceful sleep would be Loudly crying face," another wrote.

"Please hold on to your families tight. Please be safe. Don’t give up hope, we’re gonna get through this. I promise. God bless you," Beyoncé said as she finished singing and blew the world a big kiss.
