She is said to have secured the sale before the property market went into lockdown.

The report states she got around £5.5 million – £1.5 million more than it was valued two years ago.

Wilnelia commented: “It was hard to leave a place with so many happy memories for me and my family, but I think they all understand.

“It was sometimes sad to be in such a home without Bruce.”

Meanwhile, one of her friends continued to the publication: “It was a stroke of luck that Wilnelia managed to sell it before the crisis hit, because the market’s plunged since then.

“The price was impressive because the house was actually not that big, and very dated. It will almost certainly be demolished by its new owners and a mega-mansion built in its place. That’s what happens round here.”

They added: “The house was too big for Wilnelia. She also wanted a fresh start. Bruce loomed large wherever she turned.”

Children half as likely to catch coronavirus than adults, UK study shows

But the review of global test and tracing and population screening studies, led University College London (UCL), said evidence “remains weak” on how likely children are to transmit the virus to others. Researchers also concluded they did not have sufficient data to examine whether children under the age of 12 differed to teenagers in terms of susceptibility to the virus.

Lead author of the research, Professor Russell Viner of the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, said it was the “first comprehensive study” to review what is and is not known about “susceptibility and transmission” among children.

He said: “Our findings show children and young people appear 56 percent less likely to contract COVID-19 from infected others.

“This new data provides essential evidence to governments around the world to inform their decision-making on whether to reopen schools and reduce or end lockdown measures.”

For the review, researchers screened 6,332 studies and identified 18 with useful data.

Nine were contact tracing studies from China, Taiwan, Japan and Australia, eight were population-screening studies and one was a systematic review of small household cluster contact-screening.

Researchers found that while children appear less likely to catch the virus from others, once they are infected it remains uncertain about how likely youngsters are to pass it on.

The researchers emphasised their non-peer-reviewed study provides no information on the level to which children can transmit the virus if they are infected.

Professor Viner said the research had yet to be published in a journal but researchers felt it was important to share it as part of the public debate.

Researchers acknowledged their work was limited by the low number of studies used and their mixed quality.

Speaking on a webinar hosted by the Science Media Centre on Friday, Professor Viner said the studies did not allow researchers to separate the data out by the age of a child.

They were also unable to look at whether children from different ethnic minority or economic backgrounds were at higher risk.

Asked about the potential reopening of schools in England next month, Prof Viner said the study was not about this issue, but the data could be used to look at it.

He added: “It’s preliminary evidence, but the weight of evidence I think in summary is clear that children appear to be less susceptible to SARS-CoV-2.

“We don’t have any data on transmissibility. We clearly have a state of uncertainty.

“I believe it is not helpful to make statements about what is safe and not safe as absolutes. All safety is a degree of safety.

“There are safety issues walking out our front door, there are safety issues getting in our car to drive our children to school, we cannot ever say something is safe or unsafe.”

Professor Viner said “the risk of death or severe infection from COVID-19 is exceptionally low in children”.

He said having an “effective test and trace mechanism in place is very important to mitigate the uncertainty about transmission from children”.

Prof Viner said there needed to be collaboration between the education and health systems to collect data and monitor infection rates, including having testing and tracing in schools.

Chris Bonell, a professor of public health sociology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), told the webinar that measures to mitigate the risk of transmission in schools were important, such as using an on-off rota of attendance.

He acknowledged teachers would lack time to help evaluate whether measures were working in schools, but suggested video cameras could be used, with appropriate safeguards.

Robert Downey Jr. Turned His Career Around With Marvel, Will DC Give Amber Heard the Same Chance?

Robert Downey Jr. is one of Hollywood’s greatest success stories thanks to his role as Marvel’s Iron Man. Along with being the face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Downey has made hundreds of millions of dollars over the past decade. Downey witnessed a resurgence when his career was at a low point, but will DC give Amber Heard the same chance in Aquaman 2?

Marvel turned Robert Downey Jr.’s career around

When Downey landed the part as Tony Stark in 2008’s Iron Man,Marvel was taking a huge chance on the actor. Downey had just gone through a rough patch in life that included abattle with drug addiction.

By the time director Jon Favreau wanted to cast him for Iron Man, Downey had successfully gone through rehab and was starting to turn his career around. Even still, Marvel took a big risk on the actor who was once labeled “uninsurable.”

RELATED: Robert Downey Jr.’s Staggering ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Payday Finally Confirmed

Although the risk was high, Marvel’s gamble on Downey paid off in a huge way. Over the years, the actor has appeared in 10 films in the MCU, including three stand-alone projects and all of the studio’s major crossover, such as Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame.

Downey has earned hundreds of millions for his Marvel films. Forexample, the actor pulled down a whopping $75 million for Endgame, amovie that also topped the charts as the highest-grossing film of all time.

Given how things turned out for Marvel and Robert Downey Jr.,fans were hoping that DC would do the same for Heard, who was set to play aneven bigger role in the DCEU in Aquaman 2.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp battle it out in court

Heard’s bid to revive her career with DC hit a major snag afternew details emerged about Johnny Depp’s legal battle against her. According to CinemaBlend, the actor is suing Heard for libel and claims that sheconstantly body-shamed him when they were married.

Depp’s estate manager, Tara Roberts, claims that she witnessedHeard slamming Depp for being overweight and “washed up.”

“She was insulting him, calling him names and in the middleof this onslaught I heard her say specifically, ‘your career is over,’ ‘no oneis going to hire you,’ ‘you’re washed up,’ ‘fat,’ ‘you will die a lonely man,’and also screaming things that were incomprehensible,” Roberts shared.

Roberts added that she rarely saw Heard in 2015, but she did talk with Depp on a regular basis. At one point in their roller-coaster marriage, Roberts says that Depp confided that he “needed to get away from Amber.”

In light of all the drama with Depp, it looks like Heard’s careerrevival with DC may have just been put on hold.

Did DC fire Heard from ‘Aquaman 2’?

Heard’s case against Depp suffered a major loss when a judgerejected her appeal to dismiss the lawsuit. Fans also learned that Heard couldget three years behind bars if she is found guilty of manufacturing evidence.

To make things even worse, the evidence suggests that Heardabused Depp, both emotionally and physically, when they were together.According to WeGot This Covered, court documents also show that Heard manipulatedthe narrative in a bid to get people to believe that Deep was the one who wasabusive.

Amid all of the developments, fans started an online petition to get Heard removed from Aquaman 2. The petition has already received over 400,000 signatures, which does not bode well for Heard.

Sources also claim that Warner Bros. is in the process of buying out Heard’s contract and replacing her with someone else. Just like Robert Downey Jr., industry insiders have called Heard “uninsurable.”

It is unclear how much Heard had left on her contract, but it isbelieved to be just shy of $10 million. Although it sounds like Heard is aboutto part ways with the DCEU, the studio has not commented on the firing rumors.

Aquaman 2 is scheduled to hit theaters in the winter of2022.

Farmer terrified of catching coronavirus slams council for removing homemade roadblock to keep daytrippers away – The Sun

A FARMER who erected his own roadblock to keep daytrippers away from Lake District beauty spots has hit out after council workmen removed it.

Peter Edmondson, 65, was terrified of catching coronavirus as increasing numbers of walkers headed through his farmyard as the lockdown was eased.

The Sun told yesterday how he placed plastic barriers across the road leading to his farm to deter people from climbing England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike.

But he reacted with fury after council staff removed it.

Peter, 65, said: “That’s it, we are 99% going to get coronavirus now.

“We have up to 2000 people a day coming through our farmyard to climb the fells and they are touching gates and fences.

“I’m vulnerable because I’ve had a lung operation and pneumonia. This could kill me.

“If it’s a decent day on a Saturday you can get 300 cars plus parked up our lane.

I’m vulnerable because I’ve had a lung operation and pneumonia. This could kill me.

“It’s busier than Blackpool promenade.

“You can’t move for people in my yard.

“We are breaking the law with the roadblock, I understand that.

“But under the circumstances we shouldn’t be hammered by the influx of the public from all directions of the country.

“They could be carriers of the virus who haven’t bothered disinfecting their hands or anything.

“They looked after the PM when he had coronavirus so they should look after the ordinary folk as well.”

Peter, 65, lives in the tiny hamlet of Seathwaite at the head of the Borrowdale valley with wife Susan, 57, eight miles from Keswick.

He and his family have erected a series of signs and roadblocks to keep the crowds away after Boris Johnson allowed people to travel any distance to take exercise.

Cumbria is already one of the worst hit areas in the country with some of the highest Covid-19 infection rates.

The police and the council said they sympathised with Peter but said he wasn’t allowed to build his own roadblocks.

Superintendent Andrew Wilkinson, of Cumbria Police said: “We understand people’s concerns and anxieties are raised during the public health emergency.

“But no rights of way should be obstructed or closed otherwise than in accordance with the law.”

A spokesman for Cumbria County Council said: “We understand that our communities have concerns about visitors returning to the Lake District and we have worked with other local partners to ask people to postpone their visits.

“However, there is no legal restriction on people visiting the Lake District and we have no option other than to take action to remove any blockages that prevent access to the highway.

“We continue to urge people to respect our local communities and keep their Lake District plans on hold for now.”

Rick and Morty (both played by Justin Roiland) embarked on yet another outrageous adventure this weekend, as they experienced the weird and wonderful world of the Vat of Acid. While Morty experienced what seemed to be a perfect life for him, things quickly turned around in the Adult Swim show’s final moments.

As the narrative rug was pulled out from under Morty’s feet, viewers were left in hysterics as they saw his fictional girlfriend being killed off.

Although viewers were entranced by this collection of tragic events over the course of the episode, they also spotted a number of easter eggs.

Rick and Morty is known to reference other parts of popular culture, as it calls upon characters and objects from video games to movies.

This week’s episode was no different, as viewers spotted a huge reference to The Simpsons – the incredibly popular sitcom cartoon from FOX.

Viewers on Reddit noted the scene in which Morty wheeled an elderly man out to the street.

During this event Morty could be seen walking next to a bar.

Viewers quickly realised this bar looked exactly like Moe’s Tavern – a local bar featured prominently throughout the show.

A fan wrote: “I immediately thought ‘it looks like Moe’s’ but then dismissed it because it seemed too random of an homage, like it’s not relevant to the episode in any way, is it?”

Others agreed, with one adding: “I knew I recognised that from somewhere.”

Viewers know Rick and Morty is set in Seattle, Washington, so both shows are certainly not taking place in the same space – but could some sort of crossover be on the horizon?

This wasn’t the only reference in the show, as others spotted a subtle reference to classic cartoon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Meanwhile, Jerry Smith star Chris Parnell has been speaking about the fourth season as a whole.

Speaking to Digital Spy Chris threw his opinion in about what happened with the talking cat.

Trump demands jail for 'corrupt' Obama and Biden over Flynn case

Trump doubles down and calls Obama a ‘grossly incompetent’ president hours after branding him and Biden ‘corrupt’ in unmasking ‘hero’ Michael Flynn and calling for them to both be JAILED

  • Donald Trump asserted Sunday morning that Barack Obama and Joe Biden face jail time – at least 50 years – for their involvement in the Michael Flynn case

  • During a wide-range interview with Fox Business, he called Flynn a ‘hero’
  • Hours later he followed up with a tweet claiming he was elected because Obama and Biden were the most ‘corrupt’ administration in U.S. history

  • Obama made comments during a virtual commencement speech for the 2020 high school graduating class bashing Trump as thinking like a ‘little kids’
  • Trump claimed he had not heard the comments, but told reporters when returning to the White House Sunday afternoon that Obama is ‘incompetent’
  • He also asserted in his interview Sunday that  people are dying from shutdown and stay-at-home orders in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic
  • ‘People are dying this way too,’ he told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo during a pre-recorded interview outside the White House with Sunday Morning Futures
  • Here’s how to help people impacted by Covid-19

Donald Trump demanded Sunday morning that former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden face jail time for involvement in the Michael Flynn case – and the president followed up with a tweet insisting he was elected due to his predecessor’s ‘corrupt’ administration.

‘It was the greatest political crime in the history of our country,’ Trump said of Obama and Biden, the presumed Democratic nominee.

‘If I were a Democrat instead of a Republican, I think everybody would have been in jail a long time ago, and I’m talking with 50 year sentences,’ the president continued in an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo that aired Sunday. ‘It is a disgrace what’s happened this is the greatest political scam, hoax in the history of our country. And people should be going to jail for this stuff and hopefully, a lot of people are going to have to pay.’

Biden and Obama reportedly knew about the FBI seeking an investigation into the incoming National Security adviser, and then-administration purportedly requested to ‘unmask’ the identity of Flynn.

Trump lauded the case being dropped against General Flynn, who had already pleaded guilty under oath, and the president called him a ‘hero’ for dealing with the charges.

Donald Trump asserted Sunday morning that Barack Obama and Joe Biden should face jail time – at least 50 years – for their involvement in the Michael Flynn case. ‘This was all Obama. This was all Biden. These people were corrupt – the whole thing was corrupt,’ Trump said

The president joined Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo (right) for a pre-recorded interview that aired during Sunday Morning Futures where he issued his sharp criticism of his predecessor and his presumed Democratic competitor

Trump tweeted Sunday afternoon, hours after the interview aired, claiming that he was elected in 2016 because Americans were fed up with Obama’s ‘corrupt’ administration

‘This was all Obama. This was all Biden. These people were corrupt – the whole thing was corrupt, and we caught them,’ Trump said.

Sunday afternoon, Trump followed up with a tweet claiming he was elected because Ameircans wanted something different than Obama and Biden’s administration.

‘The Obama Administration is turning out to be one of the most corrupt and incompetent in U.S. history,’ Trump asserted on Twitter. ‘Remember, he and Sleepy Joe are the reasons I am in the White House!!!’

Trump’s remarks came as Obama lashed out at the president again on Saturday during a virtual commencement speech for graduating high school students.

Obama has remained largely silent in the past on Trump’s actions as president, only issuing veiled indications of disapproval.

In the hour-long televised special, Obama panned ‘so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs’ who do ‘what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy.’

‘That’s how little kids think, which is why things are so screwed up,’ the 44th President continued, and while he did not mention Trump by name, there was no mistaking who he meant.

But Trump insisted as he returned to the White House from a working weekend at Camp David that he had not heard the comments from Obama’s commencement address.

‘What about Obama’s comment? Obama’s comment at the graduation ceremony,’ a reporter asked of Trump as he disembarked Marine One on the South Lawn.

‘I didn’t hear it,’ Trump said.

When the reporter tried to describe what the comments were, Trump dismissed Obama as ‘incompetent.’

‘Look, he was an incompetent president That’s all I can say. Grossly incompetent,’ he asserted.

During a wide-range interview with Sunday Morning Futures, Trump also said he watched Biden’s response to the allegations that he knew about the investigation and intent to prosecute during his interview with ABC News’ George Stephenopoulos.

‘I watched Biden yesterday – could barely speak,’ Trump criticized of his presumed 2020 Democratic opponent. ‘And he said he didn’t know anything about it and now, it just gets released right after he said that – it gets released he was one of the unmaskers meaning he knew everything about it.’

‘So he lied to your friend George Stephanopoulos,’ the president charged.

morning, where he admitted the FBI briefed him and Obama in early January 2017 – before Trump was sworn in– that they were seeking an investigation into Flynn.

Biden asserted, however, that he didn’t know anything else about the case, including that they intended to prosecute Flynn.

‘I was aware that there was – that they asked for an investigation, but that’s all I know about it,’ Biden said Tuesday morning. ‘And I don’t think anything else – look, think about this: Can you image any other President of the United States focusing on this at the moment when a country is just absolutely concerned about their health?’

‘This is all about diverting attention,’ he insisted. ‘Focus on what’s in front of us. Get us out of this, Mr. President.’

The answer came after Biden had initially denied to interviewer George Stephanopoulos knowing about Flynn.

‘I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn, number one. Number two, this is all about diversion,’ Biden initially said. ‘This is a game this guy plays all the time.’

But Stephanopolous said ‘I want to push you’ to Biden and noted that as vice president he was present at a meeting at which intelligence chiefs discussed Flynn having a call with Russia’s ambassador Sergei Kisylak and informed Barack Obama about it.

That prompted Biden’s admission that he knew about the investigation.

Trump’s comments were aired after Barack Obama took a veiled hit at his successor during a televised commencement ceremony for high school graduates of the class of 2020. He bashed ‘so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs’ who do ‘what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy,’ obviously speaking of Trump

Trump mentioned the meeting where he insisted Obama brought up ‘unmasking’ Flynn – or revealing his identity and the probe into his actions.

‘There was a meeting and oh, by the way, Joe Biden were you asleep in this meeting, as well when you actually were there?’ Trump said in the interview with Bartiromo. ‘And you actually made a request for unmasking?’

‘This is the problem we’re seeing is people are waking up to the real fact there was an attempt to take out a candidate and then a president before he could get going, and the American people should be demanding why every news outlet is not covering this the way you have for the last three years,’ Trump said, praising one of his favorite members of the meda, and one of the only 46 people he follows on Twitter.

‘Many of us have been screaming at the top of our lungs, there was basically a coup attempt at the highest level,’ the president said.

Trump also spoke a lot about the federal response to coronavirus with Bartiromo, and was adamant that shutting down the country in the midst of the outbreak has caused deaths on top of those perishing from the disease.

‘People are dying this way too,’ the president asserted in an interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo.

‘They’re dying with this closure, with this shutdown of the country,’ Trump said of the American people. ‘In their house, in their apartment. Some people are too tough on it. They can’t leave their house.’

The president made these comments during a pre-recorded interview with Bartiromo, who hosts Sunday Morning Futures on Fox Business Network.

Among the coronavirus pandemic, there have been major spikes in the U.S. in calls to suicide hotlines and there has been a rise in domestic violence as several jobs have gone fully remote or work-from-home.

As of Sunday morning, there are more than 1.5 million confirmed cases of coronavirus in the U.S. and nearly 90,000 have died from the disease.

Most states across the country are well into the third month of nation-wide shutdowns and stay-at-home orders – and more widespread loosening of restrictions began last week.

US tells Britain not to hand China control of its electricity

White House official urges Britain not to hand China control of its electricity as Beijing-run nuclear energy company jostles for dominance

  • Dr Christopher Ford warned China General Nuclear is linked to China’s military
  • A CGN top engineer was jailed in the US for running a spy network for Beijing
  • The US are discouraging ‘friends and partners’ from engaging with the company

A senior US official has delivered a stark warning to Britain not to continue to let a Chinese state-run nuclear energy company control a large part of our electricity supply.

Dr Christopher Ford, the US State Department’s assistant secretary for non-proliferation and international security, warned that China General Nuclear (CGN) is closely linked to the Communist regime’s military. Any involvement in UK power generation would jeopardise our political independence for many decades, he said.

One of the company’s top engineers has previously been convicted and jailed in the US for running a spy network at the behest of Beijing. Speaking exclusively to The Mail on Sunday, Dr Ford said: ‘We are trying to discourage our friends and partners from engaging with a Chinese nuclear company that is known for such acts.’

In an appeal to the British Government – whose relationship with Washington has already been damaged by the decision to allow Huawei, another Chinese firm, into the UK’s telecoms network – he asks: ‘Would I make my critical infrastructure dependent on a company with that reputation? No, I’d look for an alternative if I could.’

Dr Christopher Ford, the US State Department’s assistant secretary for non-proliferation and international security, warned that China General Nuclear (CGN) is closely linked to the Communist regime’s military

It is highly unusual for a serving US official to intervene so forcefully about an ally’s policy decisions but it shows how seriously the Trump administration views the Chinese threat.

Earlier this year, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Huawei poses a ‘real risk’ and added that Washington was evaluating the consequences for intelligence sharing with London.

Dr Ford’s fears are echoed by many senior figures in Britain, including Sir Richard Dearlove, the former head of MI6.

He told The Mail on Sunday that if CGN was allowed a key role in building two vast nuclear power plants – at Sizewell in Suffolk and Bradwell in Essex – there would be a grave threat to national security.

An analysis by this newspaper shows that the Chinese could have total or partial control over more than a quarter of Britain’s electricity needs.

Dr Ford said this could result in ‘manipulation or coercion’, explaining: ‘China has not been shy about using economic levers as a political tool. Economic entanglements are being used for political purposes with greater frequency.’

He added that if Britain became dependent on CGN, China ‘could threaten to turn the switches on and off – and that can be a very powerful tool of influence.’

For his part, Sir Richard said: ‘Our whole relationship with China needs a total, strategic rethink. That includes everything that relates to critical national infrastructure.

‘We must put any decisions that involve letting China be part of our nuclear industry on hold.’

And former Brexit Secretary David Davis said: ‘If we continue to allow a Chinese company that has been convicted of espionage against America to control a dominant part of our nuclear industry, the special relationship with the US will be critically undermined.’

Veteran Foreign Office diplomat Matthew Henderson, director of the Asia Studies Centre at the Henry Jackson Society, added: ‘Why would you want to give all this to a state that has lied about a global pandemic?

‘For China, getting involved in our nuclear industry meets their strategic objectives – to strengthen China and weaken the UK.’

A China General Nuclear engineer introduces the equipment of wind-generated electricity for heating at a zodiac reactor site in Khazakstan

Both Huawei and CGN are on a blacklist compiled by the US Commerce Department, which bans American companies from supplying technology to them.

The list says CGN is ‘engaged in or enabled efforts to acquire advanced US nuclear technology and material for diversion to military uses in China’.

This follows the admission by a top CGN engineer called Szuhsiung Ho, who lived for decades in America, that he had set up a nuclear espionage network at the behest of Beijing’s military.

The case, Dr Ford said, was a textbook example of China’s ‘military-civil fusion strategy’, a secret programme directed by President Xi Jinping ‘to erase the barriers between civilian enterprises and China’s defence industrial base’.

He added that Chinese companies are ‘routinely tasked with acquiring foreign technology, not always legally, and bringing it back to China for purposes of diversion to the People’s Liberation Army and/or the security services.’

This has been called ‘Wolf Warrior’ diplomacy.

Dr Ford claimed that China is using technology it has stolen from the West to build nuclear power reactors and to help its navy to develop next-generation ballistic missile submarines.

CGN’s involvement with power generation in Britain began under David Cameron’s government, as part of a policy critics dubbed ‘Operation Kowtow’. Initially, it was invited to finance a third of the £22.5 billion Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in Somerset.

But it soon became clear that CGN’s role was not limited to finance as there are about 150 Chinese engineers at the site.

In Suffolk, the firm is in partnership with the French state-run company EDF, which is about to submit its final ‘consent order’ for permission to build a similar power station to Hinkley – even though an unfinished prototype in northern France is eight years behind schedule and three times over budget.

CGN’s share of the final project has yet to be determined but it has already agreed to take an 80 per cent stake in Bradwell, where it wants to build two of its own Hualong 1 reactors.

Industry experts say that although Hinkley, Sizewell and Bradwell could supply at least a fifth of the total power generated in Britain, it is not proved that they are really needed.

Prices for other forms of power have plummeted, with the National Grid last week saying it was ready to pay EDF £50 million to halve output from the existing Sizewell B nuclear station because of concerns about over-production.

Meanwhile, there are worries about a possible and very controversial financing scheme for a new Sizewell plant that would mean consumers – already feeling the pinch from the pandemic – paying big surcharges on their fuel bills before it is even built.

What’s more, any nuclear-generated electricity from Hinkley has a price guarantee of £104 per megawatt hour – which will rise with inflation – which is more than twice the price of electricity produced from other sources.

Dr Ford added: ‘What Beijing has shown very clearly is that once it gets its hooks into you, it is not at all shy about using them.

‘We are keen to encourage our friends to pull out those hooks.’

CGN’s UK spokesman said the firm did not wish to comment.

Stranger Things theories: Eleven and Jonathan’s return to Hawkins ‘sealed’ – here’s why

Stranger Things fans were left devastated in the final moments of the Netflix show’s third season, as Jim Hopper (played by David Harbour) was killed off whilst saving the world against the Upside Down. And to make matters worse for the show, an entire family left Hawkins, Indiana, in search for a better life.

With Hopper dead, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was left homeless, and without any family.

This situation forced her to improvise, and therefore left the youngster leaving Hawkins alongside the Byers family in the show’s final moments.

While it was an emotional send off for the family, Eleven, Will Byers (Noach Schnapp), Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton), and Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) were excited to leave the town that had caused them so much heartache over the years.

Despite the bright future for the family, it certainly does leave a question mark over the upcoming fourth season of the show.

As the show is very much an ensemble piece, viewers have been speculating that Eleven and the Byers family will no doubt be returning to Hawkins in new episodes.

  • Stranger Things season 4 theories: Hawkins to be abandoned after death

However, the question that still remains is why would the family return to the place where all their misery began?

Fans of the show on Reddit have been discussing this issue at length, and have recently suggested Stranger Things will be reuniting the team around the holiday season – just before everything thing gets a little spooky once again.

Reddit user ObbySWSH recently posited: “Are we to assume Christmas is the theme?

“If so, I think that maybe the season will start with the Byers and El coming to Hawkins for Christmas. The first two or three episodes will be the usual slower, but more character-based, fun episodes with everyone back together.”

This theory certainly makes sense, as the first episodes of season one and two followed this formula pretty rigorously, so it stands to reason season four could follow it as well.

This means Eleven, Will, and Jonathan could be returning with Joyce very early on in the season.

The fan later went on to reference Hopper, and his now-revealed survival after the explosion in Hawkins.

“And somehow, Hopper is figured out to still be alive,” they continued. “I’m gonna assume that it’s through El’s spy ability. But it could be anything really.

“Just that everyone’s back together. And so the rest of the season builds around finding Hopper. I assume each character ‘group’ will have something different to do in this situation. But by the end, Hopper will be safe and back.”

With so much at stake for season four, viewers are eager to find out exactly what is going on with the story in Stranger Things.

In the Stranger Things vacuum fans have also been delving into the extended universe of the franchise in the form of books and comic books.

This has led to a number of fans’ outcry as they spotted a few continuity errors within the newly-written stories.

Speaking out on Reddit about some plot holes in the comic books, one fan wrote: “If I recall right, there are at least two continuity errors from the books and comics that were discussed in this sub.

“One being the year Brenner’s program started, and another being the outcomes of the earlier test subjects themselves.”

The fan also pointed out what would happen in the show if some of the events that occurred in the novels were proved canon in season four.

They said: “If the show acknowledges Andrew Rich as El’s biological father (which I really hope they do), then we can probably count Suspicious Minds as canon.

Kylie Jenner With Chunky Highlights

Between the scrunchies, headbands, claw clips, and now chunky highlights, we’re not sure if it’s 2020 or we unknowingly got into a time machine back to the ’90s and early ’00s. (Not that we’re mad about it or anything.)

Chunky highlights in particular are a hair-color trend that we did not see coming, but George Papanikolas, colorist and Matrix brand ambassador, certainly did. At the start of the year, he predicted the Kelly Clarkson-inspired highlights trend would make a major comeback, and he could not have been more right.

It started with Jennifer Lopez back in March when she debuted the look on her light-brown hair with caramel-blond highlights. Then, more celebrities followed suit and experimented with the thick-highlight trend themselves, like Kaia Gerber, who re-created the look at home by lightening pieces of her hair with hydrogen peroxide.

Ahead, we rounded up all of the celebrities with chunky highlights for you to see.
