Simon Cowell branded an 80s act ‘horrific’ during the Britain’s Got Talent auditions.

In an unseen clip, we get to see Irish group Bear Force 1 in action and despite failing to impress Simon, the other judges and the audience were loving it.

The band told the judges that they got together after meeting in a bar where they discovered their shared passion for 80s music.

For their audition, they sang and danced to a number of 80s hits which had the judges singing along and the audience members on their feet.

Although just seconds into their first number, Simon pressed his red buzzer.

He told them afterwards: ‘The singing was horrific and the dancing wasn’t far behind, based on that audition as much as I think you are really nice people or whatever, it’s an absolute no.’

And despite Simon’s comments the other judges absolutely loved it, as did we!

‘I loved it,’ Amanda Holden began.

‘I knew all the words, I burnt some calories.’

Alesha Dixon commented: ‘I mean, the vocals were a bit ropey it made me smile, it made me happy I couldn’t take my eyes off you, I loved it.’

David Walliams went on to agree: ‘Well you’d be surprised to know that this is right up my street, One direction are ok but these guys…’

Even though Simon said no to putting the group through to the next round, the other judges loved it as they all gave the group a big fat YES!

We can’t wait to see what they do next!

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday 8pm on ITV.
