Gogglebox is a massively popular show, and Denise Van Outen has spilled some secrets about how it all works.

Denise, 47, and her long-term boyfriend Eddie Boxshall, 46, appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning to talk about the behind-the-scenes workings of the must-watch programme.

Host Charlie Stayt asked the couple the questions everyone wants to know: “Do you have a camera just permanently watching? Is there a crew there? Or is it just fixed? How does it work? Are you able to give away a few secrets?”

Stunning Denise was happy to tell all, as she said: “They set up really small cameras that you can just about see.

"We do it at home in our own lounge and the crew stay outside."

She explained: “This is one of the reasons why last year during the lockdown, we were able to still make the show safely because the crew basically sit outside our house in their cars individually.”

The presenter joked: “It's quite funny when you look outside because it looks like we're having a massive party, but we've actually got a sound guy in a car."

She added: "There’s a camera crew, and they're all outside socially distanced from us and we just sit indoors, we just binge watch TV.”

“People go 'are you aware of the cameras being there?' but actually, you do forget don't you?” she asked commodities trader boyfriend Eddie.

“You do!” he agreed. “When I first started it, you obviously knew they were there.
