Laura Tobin on the significance of French Guiana mission
Laura Tobin delivered the weather forecast to Good Morning Britain viewers wearing a zipped-up beige boiler suit with a black belt.
She was hosting her segment of the ITV news programme away from the studio outside with a tipi covered in fairy lights behind her, but viewers were left distracted by her appearance.
Viewers took to social media to comment on the meteorologist’s choice of outfit, with Lucy Simon quipping: “Is Laura doing a parachute jump today #GMB.”
Walker said: “What is Laura wearing? Is she going to decommission a nuclear site after the broadcast #gmb?”
@wrinklytimelord shared: “Laura, Anneka Rice called she wants her outfit back #GMB.”
David Gray penned: “I’m guessing that place is nearer to your home than the studio or why else would you add to emissions after preaching about climate change, are you fixing the car with that boiler suit on?”
Other viewers were fans of Laura’s bold outfit such as Michael who said she was “as gorgeous as ever!”
Phil Davis said: “Just love @Lauratobin1 and her enthusiasm. Clear and concise diction, no mumbling and obvious in-depth knowledge of her subject. Also, very beautiful.”

“But actually, it’s been nice for most of us for much of this week and it’s finally felt like spring has sprung with temperatures climbing and plenty of sunshine.”
She continued: “Today it won’t be sunny skies across the board, today it is some sunny spells and scattered showers.”
Laura said there will be some wet weather across the north of the UK and showers are expected in the central zone of England.
The temperature in Cardiff could reach 20 degrees and it is set to reach 19 degrees in Edinburgh and Plymouth.
She said temperatures could climb up to 21 degrees in London and Portsmouth on Saturday.
