The McQueens are currently being tormented by a Chucky-esque doll of doom, which claims to want revenge and cash – or their secrets will come out.

And recent returnee Jorgie Porter has warned Metro.co.uk hat it could spell the end of at least one member of the family.

Here, Metro.co.uk catches up with the Theresa McQueen star:

How did the return of Theresa come about?

I was very lucky to be asked quite often, and when I came back and did Come Dine With Me I realised, why would I not do this job, it is the best job ever and the people are so great, the crew and the cast, and I feel like Theresa was missed as well, so it was perfect timing.

Was it something you had to think about or was it a no brainer?

The time when I did CDWM, it was absolutely definitely a no brainer that I would come back, as I had such fun filming CDWM at the studios and seeing everyone and realising that it’s the best place to be.

What was it like being reunited with all of your friends?

Reuniting with all my friends was literally like family again, and like I’d not been away, it didn’t feel like five years, it literally felt like five days.

Theresa comes back during a bit of a crisis for the McQueens – what is going on?

The McQueens are going through a huge blackmailing crisis when the McQueens are put into a really crazy jeopardy situation, where they have to all work together, but then it causes real big splits and dramas and all sorts.

Everybody starts exposing their secrets and obviously they all turn on each other. They become very suspicious of each other, but who knows what and why and where its coming from, and why they are asking for so much money for peoples’ secrets.

Someone is out for revenge – how much danger are they in?

I think they’re in a huge amount of danger, not only because the blackmailer wants to expose all of their secrets, which could also put them into prison and stuff like that so they’re all really scared, but also the amount of money that the blackmailer is asking could also just literally leave them with nothing.

Is there a chance we could lose a McQueen through this?

Yeah I think there is a chance we could lose a McQueen through this, not giving anything away, but I think it could be really shocking and quite upsetting actually.

Is your return long term?

Fingers crossed it could be long term if it goes well ! Maybe you will just have to wait and see how the family react to Theresa’s return.

How have you enjoyed your opportunities since leaving Hollyoaks?

I have been so lucky whilst I’ve not been in Hollyoaks, to do the things I’ve always wanted to do, like live my dream on the West End. I’ve always wanted to be a ballerina, that was my childhood dream, and I managed to do that at the age of 30+ so that is a dream I have accomplished.

I’ve also lived in America, which has been one of my dreams as well that I’ve managed to do. I’ve done a lot of things that I’ve been always wanting to do and I’ve sort of achieved them, which has been insane pinch me moment.

How nerve wracking was Come Dine With Me?

I hate cooking so Come Dine With Me was the biggest, most nerve-wracking thing ever. I think I slept for a week after the experience, because cooking is the worst thing I could ever do! I’m not good at it, I don’t claim to be good at it.

I don’t like doing it, but the actual experience of Come Dine With Me was absolutely brilliant! I think you’ll see by the end that we have so much fun.

What would be the ideal three course meal that you’d like served to you?

I’d say more like a seven course meal. I think I’d like a lot of things. I think I’d like oysters in the beginning followed by a nice wine that matched it, then I’d like cheesy garlic bread, this is by the way when no calories enter your body.

Then I’d like spaghetti bolognaise or pasta or beans on toast in there somehow as I love bread. I would love a dessert and it would be the messiest chocolate fudge brownie you’ve ever seen ever or carrot cake or sticky toffee pudding or just a McDonalds!

Hollyoaks Come Dine With Me and Hollyoaks’ 25th anniversary episodes air all week on E4.
