PIERS Morgan and Susanna Reid wake the nation up every day on Good Morning Britain.

But viewers are wondering why the pair of them aren't on the show today (October 19, 2020).

Where is Piers Morgan today?

Piers and Susanna have been a firm fixture on GMB since 2014.

They are currently away from their presenting duties from October 19 to 23, 2020.

Both are off this week because of the school half term holiday.

Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway have stepped into replace them.

Who replaced the GMB hosts over summer 2020?

Kate Garraway returned to the show to present again over the summer.

The popular TV star hadn't hosted since March 2020, when her husband Derek Draper contracted coronavirus.

She was joined by GMB regular Ben Shephard as well as Adil Ray.

Ranvir Singh also stepped in to cover.

Previous replacements have included morning TV favourite Richard Madeley.

When did Kate Garraway return to GMB?

Kate returned to work on July 10, 2020 after taken 4 months off because of Derek being in hospital.

She said: “I’m back. It’s really emotional. As soon as I walked in I thought, ‘I’m going to cry now’.

"It’s so lovely to see your faces. I can see your faces anyway [on screen]. It’s lovely to be back, it’s like coming out of a little bubble of sadness. It’s so strange to still be in this situation.”
