FROM the creator of One Day, BBC's four-part drama Us is adapted by David Nicholls' novel of the same name.

The series, which promises to be a mix of humour and heartbreak, stars Tom Hollander and other TV legends.

Who is in the cast of Us on BBC One?

Tom Hollander

Hollander has starred in other hit BBC dramas like Baptiste and The Night Manager.

Tom has been in dozens of TV other shows including Absolutely Fabulous, Martha, Meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence, Wives and Daughters, Harry, and Cambridge Spies for which he received the FIPA D'OR Grand prize for best actor.

His blockbuster roles are Lord Cutler Beckett in Pirates of the Caribbean and minister Cal Richards in The Thick of It.

Saskia Reeves

Born in London, Saskia Reeves studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

She is perhaps most famous for her roles in Close My Eyes, I.D. and the miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune.

Her television work includes Spooks, The Commander and Luther.

She plays Ellis in Belgravia.

Sofie Gråbøl

Sofie Gråbøl is a Danish actress. She stars in Danish crime drama The Killing.

She has also acted in British TV series Fortitude.

She also featured on Absolutely Fabulous comeback episodes alongside original stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.

Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor plays the troubled teen in Doctor Foster.

After his role in the first season of Doctor Foster, Tom went on to land a part in big budget Hollywood blockbuster The Dark Tower.

He starred opposite  Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba in the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's popular book series.

Iain De Caestecker

Iain, a Scottish actor, is known for his roles in the films Shell, In Fear, Not Another Happy Ending and Lost River.

He is also a series regular on the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

De Caestecker also co-starred in the J.J. Abrams' horror film Overlord.

Thaddea Graham

Graham is a Northern Irish actress.

She plays Hanmei Collins in Sky One' Curfew and Iona in the Netflix series The Letter for the King.

She is also set to star in upcoming Netflix series The Irregulars.

When does Us start on BBC?

Us does not have a release date yet, but filming started on the series in July 2019.

The air date is expected to be in Autumn 2020, but a specific date has not been given.

The series will have four parts and will be filmed across London, Amsterdam, Venice, Barcelona and Paris.

The series trailer is yet to be released.
