DEADLY coronavirus cases have continued to rise in the UK after 4,310 more positive infections were confirmed today.
The latest number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Britain is now at 157,149 – up from 152,840 yesterday.

Cases have continued to rise as the UK grapples with the killer bug – but the grim number is largely determined by the number of tests carried out.
The Department of Health confirmed today 37,024 tests had been carried out.
On Sunday, positive cases rose to 152,840 from 148,377 as Britain prepared to enter week six of drastic lockdown measures.
It comes as the death toll in the UK today rose to 21,092 after 360 more people died from the deadly disease.
However this number does not include deaths in the community, in places such as care homes.
